Tokubetsu Honjozo Genshu Sake
A richer, full-bodied style of Sake that is ‘Genshu’ or undiluted, meaning no water is added prior to bottling. The rice grains are polished down to 60%, 10% more than required (70%) to make a Tokubetsu or ‘special’ style of Sake.
Ideal for: Food-pairing: think teriyaki salmon and cocktails.
Aroma: Pink grapefruit and white flowers.
Flavour: Concentrated, with umami and tropical notes.
Finish: Clean and long.
Rice Polishing Ratio: 60%
ABV: 19%
Best served chilled.
